NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Coppell will hold a public hearing on Thursday, the 16th
day of October, 2008, at 6:30 p.m., in the Coppell Town Center City Council Chambers for consideration of
the Old Coppell Estates Addition, Lots 3R, 4R & 5R, Block 1, Replat, being a replat of Lots 3, 4 and 5 Block 1,
to allow the incorporation of 4,490 square feet of property in the Vaughan Addition into these residential
lots, at the request Britamer L.P. being represented by Matt Kostial. Oracle Engineering. All interested
citizens of the City of Coppell and other parties of interest are invited to attend this public hearing and
participate in the same. Any citizen of the City or other party of interest may also express his or her opinion
concerning this request by letter addressed to the City of Coppell Planning Department, 255 Parkway
Boulevard, Coppell, TX 75019.
Persons owning property within 200 feet in the original subdivision of the proposed replat are required by
State law to receive notification of this hearing. According to the current tax records, you are the owner
of property affected by this replat.
Regarding this replat, Local Government Code Section 212.015 requires that you be advised of the
following requirement of subsection (c):
(c) If the proposed replat requires a variance and is protested in accordance with this subsection,
the proposed replat must receive, in order to be approved, the affirmative vote of at least
three-fourths of the members present of the municipal planning commission or governing body
or both. For a legal protest, written instruments signed by the owners of at least 20 percent of
the area of the lots or land immediately adjoining the area covered by the proposed replat and
extending 200 feet from that area, but within the original subdivision, must be filed with the
municipal planning commission or governing body, prior to the close of the public hearing.
The City Council of the City of Coppell will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, the 11'h day of November,
2008, at 7 p.m., in the Coppell Town Center, for consideration of the Planning and Zoning Commission's
recommendation relative to the Old Coppell Estates Addition, Lots 3R, 4R & 5R, Block 1, Replat, being a
replat of Lots 3, 4 and 5 Block 1, to allow the incorporation of 4,490 square feet of property in the
Vaughan Addition into these residential lots, at the request Britamer L.P. being represented by Matt
Kostia!, Oracle Engineering. All interested citizens of the City of Coppell and other parties of interest are
invited to attend this public hearing and participate in the same. Any citizen of the City or other party of
interest may also express his or her opinion concerning this request by letter addressed to the City of Coppell
