RE: CASE NO • 5-1110R3-HC, Verizon Wireless
Dear Mr. Kavanagh:
This letter is to inform you that Case No. S-111OR3-HC, Verizon Wireless, zoning change request
from S-1110R2-HC (Special Use Permit-1110 Revision 2-Highway Commerciai) to S-1110R3-HC
(Special Use Permit-1110 Revision 3-Highway Commercial), to aliow a replacement and
relocation of the existing equipmen# and cabinet with a 120-square-foot shelter to be located
approximately 15 feet west of the existing cabinet on 540 square feet of property located on the
south side of Fritz Road, approximately 1,260 feet west of Freeport Parkway, was recommended
for approval by the Coppell Planning and Zoning Commission (7-0) on Thursday, April 16, 2009,
subject to the following conditions:
1. Submit a letter from the property owner stating their permission to rezone the property.
2. Revise the differing heights of the wing wall on the eievations and ensure the utility rack
is effectively screened.
3. Ensure there is adequate clear space for access and/or maintenance of the utility rack
proposed on the east side of the shelter.
The date scheduled for consideration by the Coppell City Council is Tuesday, May 12, 2009, at 7
p.m. A representative for this case must be present at this meeting, which will be held in Council
Chambers at City Hall. Failure to represent this item may result in the deniai of this application.
City Council has instructed staff to include in its agenda packets only those items that
accurately reflect conditions as recommended by the Planning and Zoning Commission.
Therefore, please submit to the Planning Department three (3) 24" x 36" copies of the revised
plans, reflecting the above-stated conditions on or before 12 noon, Wednesday, April 29~h, 2009.
Secondly, please submit one (1) 8Y2" x 1 1" paper reduction of each revision, along with one jpg,
tiff, pdf, or a similar electronic file. Finally, submit the letter from the property owner mentioned
above.
