FILL PIT FULL OF WATER PRIOR TO PLANTING. CONTRACTOR SHALL NOTIFY LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT OF ANY DRAINAGE ISSUES. 8. PLANT TREES SUCH THAT THE BOTTOM OF THE ROOT FLARE SITS VISIBLY, 6" ABOVE FINISHED GRADE BEYOND THE PLANTING RING. 9. BACKFILL ALL TREE PITS WITH NATIVE TOPSOIL FREE OF ANY ROCK OR OTHER NON-NATIVE DEBRIS. BURLAP, TWINE AND WIRE BASKETS SHALL BE COMPLETELY REMOVED PRIOR TO BACKFILLING. 10.
