RE: 7-Eleven Store, located at the northwest corner of Denton Tap Road
and Sandy Lake; zoning application #86-09-23.1, 86-09-23.2, and
86-09-23.3.
Dear Darrell:
I received your letter dated February 4, 1987 requesting that I further
research special use permits for the above mentioned tract. After doing
so I was able to locate a form that had not yet been placed in the
files.
On November 11, 1986, the Coppell City Council approved the zoning
change requests for the above mentioned case numbers with the following
amendments:
A. The applicant agrees to install a three foot berm wrapped
around the corner on Sandy Lake and Denton Tap Road. No total
footage of length was determined at this time.
B. To architecturally design the building in conformance with the
Old World Theme.
C. The applicant would agree to a mansard type roofing rather
that a box type roofing.
D. The relocation of the air and water pumps.
E. The City would move the dumpster behind the store.
I have included for your records a copy of the City Council minutes. I
apoligize for any inconvenience I may have caused, but due to my recent
employment for the City of Coppell, there were no apparent indicators in
the files to show a more recent approval. It will be helpful for future
use, if you could possibly reference the zoning change by a file number,
such as the ones I have furnished for you. Th~s will result in you
receiving the information you requested in a speedy manner.
