Re: Application of The $~-orthing Companies for On-Site Management
Residence ~n Connection with Mini4~'arehouse
Dear Taryon:
In connection with the a~ve request, we need to place on the agenda the
~pplieant's request for a permit to be 811owed 8n on~ite management residence in
connection with the specific mini-warehouse. ~¥e should note in the request that the
appiie~nt states that the on~ite management residence would be subordinate to 8nd
serve the mini-warehouse use, subordinate in ~ve~, extent, or purpose to the mini-
warehouse use, would contribute to the comfort, convenience, and necessity of occupants
and users of the mini-warehouse, and located in the mini-w~vehouse building in such a
w~v ~s not to give the ~ppear8nee of a residence.
This will not be a true variance, :)ut will be a .specific. f.~n.ding on the part of
the City Council that in this p~rtieular ease and based upon this specific f~et situation,
the 6n%['te management residence complies as an ~eeessoey ~e as defined in the Zoning
Ordinance.
The ~nting of this permit would not be a specific finding on the ~art of the
City Council that any mini-warehouse would be entitled to an on~ite management
residence, as each would have to be considered on its own merits.
If you have any questions eoneer~ng this, please give me a call.
Very truly yours,
SALL[NGER, NICHOLS, .JACKSON,
KIRK & DII. LARD
