We are submitting, for review and approval, a Planned Development and Replat Application for a proposed building for Doggie's Wonderland. The property is approximately 1.479 acres and is located on the proposed Lot 5 of the Northlake Woodland Center Addition. The project will consist of a new 4,590 SF building and 15 parking spaces. The proposed building will serve as the new location for Doggie's Wonderland. Doggie's Wonderland currently operates out of the existing building on lot 4R and provides dog boarding, daycare, and grooming services. There will be at most 5 employees working per shift. There is one pet wash proposed for the new Doggie's Wonderland building but this wash will not be open to the public. It will be used by the employees for dogs at the daycare. The existing building on lot 4R is planned to be used for dog rescue boarding and a pet wash. The dog rescue boarding use will have two full time employees and the ability to house up to 30 dogs which, can be adopted. The dogs will stay overnight and an employee or volunteer will not be present overnight. The hours of operation for the dog rescue boarding may match those of the existing Doggie's Wonderland. There pet wash will have at most 4 pet wash stations that will be open to the public. The pet wash will have two full time employees and will also be run by the Doggie's Wonderland employees. The hours of operation for the pet wash may match those of the existing Doggie's Wonderland. The property is currently zoned PD -21782-C and the proposed zoning is PD -217R3 -C. The project is planned to be completed in one phase. The property is also currently two lots and will be replatted into three lots.
