RE: PD-217R2-C, Doggie’s Wonderland
Dear Mr. Barton,
This letter is to inform you that Case No. PD-217R2-C, Doggie’s Wonderland, a zoning change from
C (Commercial) and PD-217R-C (Planned Development-217 Revision-Commercial) to PD-217R2-C,
(Planned Development-217 Revision Two-Commercial), to amend and expand the Detail Site Plan for
the existing 0.692 acre Doggie’s Wonderland site and to allow the construction of an approximate
3,000 square foot building for a kennel (rescue), self-service pet wash and bakery use on 0.439 acres
and to establish a Concept Plan for future development on the remaining 0.346 acres was Approved by
the Coppell City Council on Thursday, February 13, 2018, subject to the following conditions:
1. A grease trap shall be required for the bakery
2. Hours of operation for the pet wash not exceed those for Doggie Wonderland.
3. Add a note to the Site Plan that there shall be shared parking for Lots 4R and 5.
4. Add a note to the Site Plan that the dumpster may be share by Lots 4R, 5 and 6.
In order to prepare an ordinance, we need to assemble appropriate documentation; therefore, please
submit to the Planning Department by Wednesday, March 14, 2018, two (2) 24”x36” copies of the
revised plans incorporating the above-stated conditions. Also, please submit one (1) 8½”x11”
paper reduction along with a pdf electronic file. When the ordinance has been completed and
Council has approved it, a copy will be sent to you.
As a reminder, the zoning change sign can now be returned to the Planning Department for your
deposit reimbursement of $200.
