Interior Landscaping — insure that all islands are 150 square feet, several appear to be deficient. Trees are missing on the east side of the driveway to Sandy Lake , south side of dumpster, and north side of drive though lane (exit). 3. Are an additional 6 Cedar Elm trees proposed along the west property line? There are symbols, but no labels and not accounted for in the data table. 4. The proposed Live Oak Trees shall not be planted over the existing sewer easement. 5. Are the 2 Cedar Elm trees in the northern parking lot island existing? Building Elevations 1. 39 sq. ft. of attached signs are permitted based on one square foot of sign for every one linear foot of building frontage. 98 sq. ft. of attached signs are shown. 2. The City Attorney has ruled that the facia lighting and/or color is also considered signage. 3. The site and landscape plans indicate monument a sign, if requested then elevations, materials, size, materials, light source, etc. need to be included, as well as a request for a variance because only one monument sign is permitted per lot, and there is an existing monument sign. 4. Attached can signs (plastic back lit signs) are prohibited in the Sign Ordinance. Individually mounted channel letters or sign elements are required. 5. An additional blade sign (10 sq. ft.) would be permitted and not count as part of the overall signage. 6. Provide additional calculations and rationale for not complying with Sec. 12-23-5.3 & .4 - Type of exterior construction. "3. Exterior wall surfaces should consist of no more than three colors -a base color, and/or a trim color, and/or an accent color. The base color may be utilized on up to 100 percent of the surface area of any one facade of a building. Another color, other than a base color, shall be permitted on up to only 5 percent of the surface area of any one facade, and an accent color on up to only 1 percent of the surface area of any one facade. For calculation purposes, wall surfaces should include eaves, gables and parapets, but should exclude roofs, awnings, or signs. 4.
