P&Z Action January January 18, 2019 Mike Clark Winkelmann & Associates 6750 Hillcrest Plaza Drive Dallas, Texas 75230 RE: PD-295-HC, Archway 121 Dear Mr. Clark, This letter is to inform you that on Thursday, January 17, 2019, your zoning change request from HC (Highway Commercial) to PD-295-HC (Planned Development-295-Highway Commercial) to establish a Concept Site Plan for a convenience food store with gas pumps, hotel, retail, restaurants and office uses on 8.7 acres and a Detail Site Plan for a convenience food store with gas pumps on 2.14 acres, located at the southeast corner of SH 121 and Freeport Parkway, was recommended for denial by the Coppell Planning & Zoning Commission (6-1). As specified in Section 12-44-6.2 of the Zoning Ordinance, if you wish to appeal the decision of the Planning & Zoning Commission to City Council, a written request must be submitted to the Planning Department within 15 days of the Commission denial action (12 noon, Friday, February 1, 2019) to be scheduled for the February 12, 2019 City Council meeting. Please be advised that given the Commission’s recommendation for denial, a ¾ vote of Council (6 out of 7) is required to approve your request.
