Dear Matt and the City of Coppell,
This letter is to address the open items for the Amazon FTW7 facility’s permit application. Amazon has fully
agreed to comply with the city of Coppell’s demands on the following items:
1. Dust Collection System Color
2. Dust Collection System Images
3. Dust Collection System Coverage
Dust Collection System Color
Addressing the Dust Collection System Color, the city of Coppell has stated that the dust collection tower
should match the color of the building. The building in question is comprised of several colors, the most
common color was selected to be matched with. Amazon working with the manufacuturer of the dust
collection system found that RAL # 7035 is an acceptable color to match the building. Below are images
compairing the building color to a paint sample.
In addition, the color sample provided below will be enforced onto the dust collection systems ladder features
as well. This will keep the tower at a single, standard color that is being provided by Amazon and PUHL
(RAL 7035).

Dust Collection System Image
In initial conversations, an image was passed on to the city as an example of what the tower would look like.
The tower had a logo of the manufacturer PUHL photoshoped onto the side of the tower and can be seen
below.
The city, concerned with the logo displayed on the side of the tower, requested that none of the following are
displayed on the tower: image(s), logo(s), symbol(s), insignia(s), or that would otherwise stand out from the
standard color of the tower.
Amazon and PUHL have agreed to comly with the city and will not display and image(s), logo(s), symbol(s),
insignia(s), or any other badging that would otherwise stand out from the standard color of the tower.

Dust Collection System Coverage
The dust collection system stands at approximately 57’ tall. During preliminary permitting, the city had issue
that the height of the dust collector is an aesthetic concern as Sandy Lake is a primary image zone in
Coppell, and as such, want it screened or hidden to every possible extent.
The city reviewed the stree view and determined that the dust collector should have substantial coverage
from W. Sandy Lake Road with the addition of 2 – 3 trees.
With recommendations of tree placement sent to Amazon, Amazon will plant 2 trees, one at each of the
circled locations in Figure 5 (b) and of the same species as its counterparts by the end of the 2019 year.
Each tree will be a minimum 3" caliper overstory trees. One of the intended locations to plant a tree was a
location that was already supposed to have a tree and therefore, both an old location and new location line
up as shown in Fligure 5 (a). These trees address the immediate gaps to prevent passengers on W. Sandy
Lake Road from seeing the GP PUHL Dust Collection System.

Conclusion:
Amazon is willing to comply with the requirements set forth by the city of Coppell (color, image, and
coverage) stated within this document to allow permit approval for the installation and utilization of the PUHL
Dust Collection System.
