Parks John Elias 06/28/2019 1) Tree Removal Permit will be required prior to start of
construction. Under Sec. 12-34-2-6A of the Tree Preservation
Ordinance, the City of Coppell is exempt from paying tree
retribution.
2) Tree Survey is incomplete, need to know:
-Total inches of protected trees on site
-Total inches to be preserved
-Total inches to be removed
-please remove the follwoing trees #'s from the Tree Survey,
they are not protected trees.

1) Find a different tree choice for the (3) Texas Ash trees, due to
the emarald ash borer we no long have ash trees on the city
plant palette.

Landscape Plans
- show lot lines and distance and bearings
- show lot in its entirety
- # trees preserved
- show utility easements
- revise title block to include project name, plat name , acreage
and zoning
- recheck landscaping calcs and provide a colored exhibit to
differentiate the three types
- building size is incorrect
- See plans for parking area by building. Plant some trees in
the grass area in lieu of the islands at the end. add note to that
effect.
Tree Survey Plans
- need to clarify what trees are staying and what is being
removed
- overlay fire station footprint
- provide an amount for trees being removed
- subtract trees in footprint, they are exempt in LI
Elevation Plans
- provide masonry calculations per elevation
