NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Planning & Zoning Commission of the City of Coppell will hold a public hearing on Thursday, the 21st day of
November, 2019, at 6:30 p.m., in the Coppell Town Center, Council Chambers located at 255 Parkway Blvd., for
consideration of the PD-298-HC, Feathers Smash, a zoning change request from HC (Highway Commercial) and LI (Light
Industrial) to PD-298-HC (Planned Development-298-Highway Commercial) to allow a parking lot to be constructed on
approximately 2.5 acres of a 3.77 acre lot located in Coppell, with an approximate 20,000-square foot badminton facility
constructed on the remainder of the lot located in the City of Lewisville, on property located on the south side of Vista
Ridge Mall Drive approximately 1,400 feet east of Business SH 121, at the request of Homeyer Engineering on behalf of
Feathers Smash, LLC.
The City Council of the City of Coppell will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, the 10th day of December, 2019, at 7:30
p.m., in the Coppell Town Center, City Council Chambers located at 255 Parkway Blvd., for consideration of the Planning
& Zoning Commission's recommendation relative to Case No. PD-298-HC, Feathers Smash, a zoning change request from
HC (Highway Commercial) and LI (Light Industrial) to PD-298-HC (Planned Development-298-Highway Commercial) to
allow a parking lot to be constructed on approximately 2.5 acres of a 3.77 acre lot located in Coppell, with an approximate
20,000-square foot badminton facility constructed on the remainder of the lot located in the City of Lewisville, on property
located on the south side of Vista Ridge Mall Drive approximately 1,400 feet east of Business SH 121, at the request of
Homeyer Engineering on behalf of Feathers Smash, LLC.
All interested citizens of the City of Coppell and other parties of interest are invited to attend this public hearing and participate
in the same. Any citizen of the City or other party of interest may also express his or her opinion concerning this request by
letter addressed to the City of Coppell Planning Department, 265 Parkway Boulevard, Coppell, TX 75019, in person or by
calling the Planning Department at 972-304-3678.
