NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The City Council of the City of Coppell will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, the 9th day of July, 2019, at
7:30 p.m., in the Coppell Town Center, City Council Chambers located at 255 Parkway Blvd., for
consideration of the Planning & Zoning Commission's recommendation relative to Case No. PD-224R2-
HC, Northlake College North Campus, zoning change request from PD-224R-HC (Planned Development
224 Revised-Highway Commercial) to PD-224R2-HC (Planned Development 224 Revision 2-Highway
Commercial), to revise the Concept Master Plan and attach a Detail Site Plan to permit a 146,655 square
foot building expansion in conjunction with Construction Education Foundation (CEF) on approximately
34.8 acres located at the southwest corner of Sandy Lake Road and Royal Lane, at the request of Dallas
County Community College, being represented by Scott Wegener of Beck Architecture. Any citizen of the
City or other party of interest may also express his or her opinion concerning this request by letter
addressed to the City of Coppell Planning Department, 265 E. Parkway Boulevard, Coppell, TX 75019,
in person or by calling the Planning Department at 972-304-3675.

LEGISLATION
The City of Coppell acknowledges its responsibility to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act
of 1990. Thus, in order to assist individuals with disabilities who require special services (i.e. sign

the City of Coppell-sponsored public programs, services and/or meetings, the City requests that individuals
make requests for these services forty-eight (48) hours ahead of the scheduled program, service and/or

Pursuant to Section 30.06, Penal Code (trespass by license holder with a concealed handgun), a person

property with a concealed handgun.
Pursuant to Section 30.07, Penal Code (trespass by license holder with an openly carried handgun), a
person licensed under Subchapter H, Chapter 411, Government Code (handgun licensing law), may not
enter this property with a handgun that is carried openly.
