We are opposed to this plan.
Our concerns(as neighbors) stem from past & future flooding issues, maintaining their driveway which we share a fence
with (dead limbs, drooping over our yard, uncontrolled vines - including poison ivy) and most importantly not just building
two structures but also having two approaches to the same property. Our concern is intrusion of privacy. Is there a law
that prevents them for using their property (any part or whole ) as a future rental for airbnb / vrbo/ any rental service.
The property given its future architectural plans, rezoning and not to mention the idyllic setting, acreage and proximity to
an international airport and access to easy driving to major landmarks that DFW offers is an ideal "rent a property" for
weddings, private/corporate parties & events. Deforest Road and its surrounding streets is residential and must remain
so. Most streets have an HOA that the homeowners are answerable to and must adhere to. 748 Deforest Rd is not a part
of any HOA and that with its current plans will lead to it being used for reasons that will be a hindrance and possibly
negatively affect the property values of its neighbors.
