RE: S-1072R. Blooming Colors Nursery
This letter is to inform you that your request for approval of $-1072R, Blooming Colors
Nursery, changing the zoning from LI (Light Industrial) and LI-S.U.P. (Light Industrial, Special
Use Permit) to LI-S.U.P. (Light Industrial, Special Use Permit), to amend the conditions of the
Special Use Permit to include the recent land acquisition to the east of the existing nursery,
located on the south side of Beltline Road, approximately 1,790 feet east of MacArthur
Boulevard, was recommended for approval by the Coppell Planning and Zoning Commission on
Thursday, October 19, 1995. The following conditions apply:
(1) City Council granting a waiver of the screening requirements to permit the wood
and brick enclosure across the front and relocation of existing fencing to the east
side;
(2) restricting outside storage within 50' of the east property line to nursery stock
only, if visible through the fence at that property line;
(3) provision of 30"-high landscape screening along the east side of the new driveway
pavement;
(4) compliance with engineering recommendations relative to the proposed second
driveway entrance as detailed in the Valley Ranch Self-Storage Preliminary Plat
comments; and
(5) no additional signage will be permitted.
The date scheduled for consideration by the Coppell City Council is Tuesday, November 14,
1995, at 7:30 p.m. A representative for this case must be present at this meeting. Failure to
represent this item may result in the denial of this application.
