re: Coppell Taco Bell
Dear Kenneth:
You responded very quickly to my notifying you that the wrong roof tile was going up. The
response, in fact, was so immediate that the roof tile installation contractor was in my office the
very next morning. You may be interested, therefore, in my observations from that meeting.
The roof tile man brought with him a set of plans. We rolled them out to the architectural
building elevations which, as best I could tell, were identical to those approved by the City
Council last October. The plans clearly specified double roman concrete roof tile to be gray
flashed from Life Tile. This sub-contractor does not even do that kind of installation, so
apparently the general contractor did not get the right sub on the job to build according to plan.
After the general contractor corrects this error and removes the unauthorized trim from the cedar
framed soffit, the exterior building elevation elements specifically addressed in the Special Use
Permit will be according to approved plan. If you continue your style of prompt response, I
should imagine that those corrections will occur rather speedily.
Sincerely,
Pert Virtanen
