re: Coppell Taco Bell
Dear Kenneth:
Sorry I missed you on site. Your inside man promised to convey the message that the flags and
flagpoles are not authorized by the Special Use Permit conditions.
The rules are simple. If you do not find authorization for it in the ordinance City Council
adopted on the 10th of October, 1995, it is not authorized. The flagpoles do not appear in any
of the ordinance exhibits. Therefore, they are not permitted.
It should be embarrassing to you, and it is certainly embarrassing to me, when the Mayor begins
inquiring about flags flying on restaurants. If you are concerned that people in Coppell will not
notice that a Taco Bell is located where there used to be an empty field, please do not worry.
They notice you. What you should be concerned about is that they notice you in a positive light.
Sincerely,
·
