RE: Sandy Lake & Mac Arthur -Roottop AC Units - Noise
Dear Jerk
Measurements we made during our site visit Ausust 10,1996 showed the noise levels
existing were 58 dBA at the closest rear property line, with both of the two roottop .AC
units operatin8 in their full capacity mode.
'We -would expect the screen outlined in our letter of August 12, 1996 to reduce the
broadband noise from the two rooftop AC units by 4 dBA The annoying, dominant raspy
sound from the compressors, made up of hisher frequency components, will experience a
8rearer reduction estimated to be 7 dB
Please call with any questions.
Very truly yours,
Tom
